Corruption in India
Corruption in India has been in a minute scale since the immoral
times in the past from satyug, treta dwapan through kalayug. This period
Kalayug is imminent and starts of deep root corruption in India. The strategy of
sam(love), dam(money), dand(punishment), and bhed(division); is the new way to
get their work done. Today, in present society, corruption is evident in day to
day life of the citizens of India. Be it trucking industries to police stops in
interstate highways, corruption is evident in the rule of law.

The largest contributors to corruption are entitlement or
allocation programs and social spending schemes for the betterment of rural people
as well as citizens of India by the government. The use of this illegal
graft to get the work done is eating up Indians' economies of central, state, and
local government agencies. Not only it has withheld the economy from reaching
new stature, but ongoing increasing corruption has inhibited the countries
development. Corruption is acting as a termite that is deteriorating India’s, own heart.
MEDIA
Media, the main means of mass communication, has widely
published allegations of corrupt Indian citizens stashing millions of rupees in
Swiss banks. Indian media has not been left unstained by this very corruption.
Media is largely controlled by corrupt politicians and industrialist for their
own beneficiary, they play a major role by misleading the public with incorrect
information. These corrupt politicians use media to impersonate and hide their
true selves for the public in order to justify the allegations registered with
them.

Political corruption is one of the most notable crimes of the modern era. Cases of naive politicians and the abuse of power are surprisingly
common. There are some political corruptions that occur in all levels of
government. The list of corruption is as follows.
1-PAYOFF AND BRIBES
The bribe is one of the
common types of corruption. It is a corruption that may be practiced in all level of
government and administration officials of police, government and
administrations take money in different forms or hard cash in exchange for
favorable treatment.
For example, a local building contractor may pay thousands
of dollars to the city council members to be the first choice for a permit to
begin a new development contract.
2-GRAFT AND
EMBEZZLEMENT
Some elected officials are elected for the overview and
handling of large sums of money. This money may be used in the development,
renovation, and repair contracts. If the official handling the project
diverts some of the money into their personal account without giving
information about this illegal diverting money for their own benefits.
